BAKERY by Frothy Monkey is hiring Bread Bakers. We offer a safe, inclusive and creative workplace. Our team members have the opportunity to collaborate with others, grow professionally, and contribute to a growing company. Full time positions available from 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Weekend availability is a must. 
 

About BAKERY by Frothy Monkey

We are a full service BAKERY in Nashville owned by Frothy Monkey. Everything we bake is from scratch. Our team of pastry and bread bakers produce Artisan breads, sandwich breads, and a wide assortment of baked goods from muffins and cookies, to layer cakes and pies. We partner with local farms and producers when possible to bring seasonal freshness to our products and to deepen the sense of community that gathering around the table can foster. We offer retail, wholesale, special orders.

Role and Responsibilities

The Bread Baker role at BAKERY by Frothy Monkey includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities. 

  • Scaling ingredients according to BAKERY Bread Formulas
  • Mixing Ingredients to proper incorporation and development
  • Following proper shaping, proofing, and baking procedures for each of the Artisanal Breads produced at BAKERY by Frothy Monkey
  • Removing loaves from Deck and Rotating Rack Ovens after ensuring proper bake and placing on cooling racks
  • Assisting, when necessary, in slicing, packaging, and sorting all Breads for delivery to our customers
  • Repeatedly stoop, bend and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace during the Production shift, and cleaning all equipment, benches, and floors in Bread Production Area at the end of each shift

Qualifications and Education Requirements

At Bakery by Frothy we are dedicated to training and developing our staff. While previous experience is helpful, we will gladly train you how to become a professional baker. Positivity, grit and a willingness to learn are all that you need.
